Food-Pak is a specialist food processing and packaging service provider with full food safety
programme (HACCP based), offering contract manufacturing, filling and packaging facilities to the
food industry. Housed in modern, clean and hygienic food grade premises, Food-Pak specialises in
liquid food and paste products. Food-Pak is also WQA, Coles and SQF certified as registered food facility.

The facilities at Food-Pak are designed to produce food liquid and paste items, ranging from
initial launch products (several thousand units) to commercial quantities of (several million units)
for national supermarket distributions. Existing and past products made include (P = filling &
packaging only; M&P = manufacturing & packaging):

 

• Yeast spreads / HVP based products (M&P)

• High-quality edible oils (e.g. extra virgin olive oil, macadamia oil, avocado oil, walnut oil,etc.) (P)

• Vinegars (e.g. balsamic, plum, apple cider, red wine, rice vinegars) (P)

• Syrups, dessert sauces and toppings (e.g. maple flavored syrup, chocolate toppings including hard-set, sauces containing fruit or liquor) (M&P)

• Aloe Vera juice (P)

• Nut spreads (M&P)

• Asian sauces including sweet chilli sauces (M&P)

• Meat marinades, savoury sauces, simmer sauces, (M&P)

• Tomato based sauces (e.g. pasta, salsa, etc) (M&P)

• Olive tapenade, dukkahs (P)Condiments with particulates (e.g. fruit chutneys, mustard pickles and including Indian condiments) (P/M&P)

• Prepared mustards, sun-dried tomatoes, basil pesto, (P/M&P)

• Jams and jellies (M&P)

• Japanese sauces (e.g. tamari, shoyu, mirin) (P)

• Dressings and mayonnaise (P; some M&P)

• Fruit puree drinks, reconstituted fruit juice drinks (P) and non-carbonated energy drinks (M&P)

• Malt or rice syrup, honey, and similar thick liquids (e.g. molasses) (P)

• Wines and spirits, and related products (e.g. Cowboy cocktails) (P)

• Some solids (e.g. sultanas, 100s & 1000s, herbal salt, mixed spices) (P)

• Containers used include retail pack glass or plastic (PVC, PP, HDPE and PET) bottles and jars, plastic or metal tubs, composite cans, pails and drums, with sizes ranging from small single serve (about 40g) to 25 litres. Hot filling is common among products marked M&P, especially when cooked on site.
